Finding good tradespeople can be hard, but what if you could view profiles, portfolio's and blogs to make informed decisions on their suitability and experience - before contacting them?

'The Garden Network' - the 1st Business and Social Networking site for gardens is launched and it's ALL FREE...

The Garden Network is a live, active and growing environment for all things garden. This new 'social networking' technology has been tailored to meet the needs of the garden industry, with 3 goals...

A place for homeowners to meet professionals to design, build and maintain their new garden
A place for professionals and new businesses to network and find partners, suppliers and training
A place for gardeners, college students and enthusiasts to exchange ideas on all things gardening

Everyone gets their own webspace and tools to upload photo's, events and blogs about themselves or their business, creating ‘mini-websites’ with online portfolios. You also get access to tools to find, meet, chat and network with members for either business or pleasure - and its ALL FREE.

The Garden Network - THE place to meet professionals...

Creator Linette Applegate explains;

"Since teaming up with Homebase to provide garden design, it became apparent the sheer demand for inspiration from homeowners. I was inundated with requests for design and landscaping from across the UK, homeowners kept saying they 'did not trust business websites' and 'can I recommend anyone locally?' - so I set about creating a 'level playing field' for the industry and a focal-point for consumers to decide who's best for them.

Seeing the explosion of Social Networks and listening to homeowners, it seemed obvious to use this new technology to help them find local businesses - and make informed decisions on who to employ. It's still very new, and we have lots of fresh features and initiatives under development - so far both the trade and the public love it. You really can lose yourself in there for hours..."
