Sunlight conditions Your sunlight conditions can also affect the success of your new plants, so all planting available in Homebase is suitable for one of 4 sunlight conditions.
To select plants for the correct sunlight conditions in your border...

1. Full Sun For borders in your garden that normally receive Full sun light for the majority of the day - this is usually true for south-facing situations.

2. Full Sun and Partial Shade Full sun and Partial shade borders get full sunlight for half the day or dappled sunlight all day - usually true for east/west facing situations.

3. Partial Shade Garden borders with Partial shade conditions would normally receive dappled sunlight all of the day.

|
4. Full Shade For borders that are normally in Full shade, receiving little sunlight for the majority of the day. This is usually true for north-facing situations.
